Overview

The trek will start from the Sembalun village and will finish in torean village, Sembalun Trekking Route with an altitude of 1100 m and will also take place in the Sembalun village. This route will be pampered with a vast landscape, a little long path and a bit hot during crossing the meadow, to get to the edge of the crater with the altitude of 2600 m you will need a lot of stamina because you have to climb five hills which are very high and challenging. On the second day is the struggle to reach the summit with a height of 3.726m, starting from 3 a.m. in order to get the sun rise over the summit,

In addition to the summit, you will also be visiting and bathing in the lake and hot spring. You will also be camping in the lake and hot spring which landscape is incredible and we make sure it is amazing for you, and also along the Torean route you can see the copy of New Zealand with super view waterfalls and beautiful sulfur river flow and the last you will descend the tropical rainforest as the last day of the Rinjani Mountain adventure.

of course this is very impressive because you can already conquer the second highest mountain in Indonesia, and you capture your moment by taking pictures.

The climbing covered the following :

  • Four days and three nights camping on the mountain and one night at the hotel on the day of your arrival (5 days total).
  • During the Trek you’ll be guided by local, professional and English speaking guides.
  • Porters who will bring all camping gear, food and drink.

Itinerary

Summary Travel Itinerary Day 0 (day you arrive in Lombok /Senaru)

  • Pick up from any place in Lombok to senaru Village

Day 1:

  • 06.00 – 06:30: Breakfast in the hotel
  • 07.00 – 07.30: Transfer to Sembalun Village
  • 08.30: Check in at Rinjani National Park Registration Office, Trekking Begin.
  • 12.00: Lunch at Postt 2
  • 17.00: Arrive at Crater Rim Sembalun (RIM II), dinner, camp, and overnight.

Day 2:

  • 02.00: Climb the Rinjani Summit.
  • 05.30: Arrive at Summit (Before sunrise). Take Photos (+- 1 Hour)
  • 07.00: Back to Camp area (RIM II), Breakfast.
  • 10.00: Start descending down to Lake Area or one more night in Rim II.
  • 12.30: Lunch.
  • 12.30: Arrive at the lake, Take shower at Hot Spring Water, dinner, camp, and overnight

Day 3:

  • 07.00 – 08.00: Breakfast
  • 08.00 – 09.00: Start trek to the lake and hot spring or trek down to the Barisan Nangka Torean (RIM II)
  • 12.00: Lunch at in lake
  • 14.00 – 15.00: enjoy hot spring and, dinner, camp, and overnight

Segara Anak lake and hot spring (2000 MDPL)

  • Distance: 2,5 KM
  • Duration: 3-4 Hours
  • Difficulty: Moderate
  • Highest point: 2.000 M (Senaru Crater Rim)

Day 4:

  • 07.00: Breakfast
  • 08.00: Start to be going down to Torean village
  • 12.00: Lunch at Pos I
  • 14.00: Arrive at Torean Village, pick up to our office for take shower, Transport direct to your next destination (Lombok Area)

What to Bring

Bellow are list of items you should carry during the trek program.  All items to be packed in a small backpack no more than 5 kg.
  • 1 pair champ shoes/trek shoes are good.

If you need extra porters to carry your personal stuffs, they are available at extra cost $ 25 USD/ porter /day . You are advised to travel as light as it could be, the rest of your luggage can be stored at our office and get them back after trek.

Notes

Booking and Payment Procedure Easy-peachy!
  1. Deposit can't be returned for any reason since it will be used for tax, administration fee and national park ticket purchase: ticket cannot be returned. It can only be rescheduled once in the same year and using the same identity.
  2. Deposit should be in Rupiah (Indonesia Rupiah) and in accordance with the daily exchange rate, in which during the making of this statement, the daily exchange rate is $1 = Rp15,000 IDR which means that you should pay deposit as much as Rp 900,000/ person or $60/person.
  3. Deposit does not require any additional of hidden fees.
  4. The remaining payment must be paid at the day of arrival using Rupiah (IDR) or US Dollar according to the daily exchange rate (cash or Credits Card).
  5. Important note: Rinjani climbing is limited to only 240 people per day, therefore if the quota runs out, you certainly cannot join the climbing. Please confirm and send the members’ data earlier.
