While this program is similar to the 4-day trek from Sembalun, it offers several unique advantages. On the first day, instead of crossing the hot savanna, you will hike through a lush, cool, and beautiful rainforest. This route also offers more flexibility, as you can choose to summit on either the third or fourth day. Overall, it provides a completely different and refreshing experience compared to the standard Sembalun route
Starting from Senaru village at 601m, this trekking route offers a unique experience through a lush and cool rainforest. Unlike the open savanna of Sembalun, you will climb through a challenging forest path to reach the crater rim at 2,641m. On the third day, the real challenge begins with a summit climb at 2 a.m. to catch a stunning sunrise from 3,726m. This journey also includes visiting the lake and hot springs, plus camping at the second crater with its incredible landscape. You will end the trip by descending through beautiful scenery back to Sembalun route, making it a complete and unforgettable adventure.
